Fifteen applications were submitted for the first edition of the programme promoted by Andorra Business and Creand Crèdit Andorrà.

Enlaira, the first acceleration programme for Andorran start-ups, promoted by Andorra Business and Creand Crèdit Andorrà, closed its call for applications with a total of fifteen submissions. From these, the panel of experts from both promoting entities selected three start-ups to take part in the first edition of the programme. Enlaira aims to provide resources worth €12,000 to Andorran start-ups, helping them consolidate their businesses, increase their visibility and connect with the most influential players in the Andorran entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The proposals submitted reflect great sectoral diversity, with innovative projects in areas such as digital health (Healthtech), wellness and fitness, and technological transformation in the legal and financial sectors (Legaltech and Fintech), among others. This diversity highlights the growing dynamism of the Andorran start-up ecosystem.

Following the selection process, three start-ups were chosen to participate in the first edition of the programme: The selected start-ups are:

•           4Mediks: A company that has developed an antimicrobial product made entirely from botanical ingredients.

•           Elevadoos: An educational programme that teaches financial literacy to children and young people aged 8 to 18.

•           Agro Biomaterials: A start-up that transforms local organic waste into sustainable, functional bioplastics.

These three start-ups will receive personalised support over the coming months, including practical training, expert mentoring, direct financial assistance and access to a network of contacts.

The programme will officially begin on 9 September with a welcome session and the first group workshop, focusing on a key topic for any entrepreneur: burnout prevention. This opening activity will place the spotlight on the well-being of founding teams and provide tools to manage pressure and maintain a healthy work-life balance throughout the acceleration process. With Enlaira, Creand Crèdit Andorrà and Andorra Business reinforce their commitment to local entrepreneurial talent and take a decisive step towards strengthening the country’s innovation ecosystem.
