Andorra Business and Creand Accelera have announced the launch of the second edition of the Enlaira programme, aimed at supporting emerging Andorran companies with growth and consolidation potential. For this edition, the number of start-ups to be selected from among the applications received has been increased to five. Applications open tomorrow, 19 February, and will remain open until 24 March.

The aim of the Enlaira programme is to accelerate start-ups through strategic and technical support, specialised mentoring and access to a broad network of contacts within the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Selected projects receive support from Creand Accelera in areas such as participation in programmes including the Innovation Hub (a pioneering initiative in Andorra that fosters knowledge-sharing between SMEs and the start-up sector), as well as company valuation studies, participation in entrepreneurship events and other benefits. They also gain access to the programmes and services offered by Andorra Business.

The programme will begin on 4 May and will run for six months, during which participants will receive 30 hours of tailored mentoring from mentors selected specifically for each start-up.

Applicants must be businesses established in Andorra, with at least one full-time team member and annual turnover not exceeding €150,000.

A jury comprising members of Andorra Business, Creand and venture capital investors will assess the projects in person at the end of the programme. A prize of €10,000 will be awarded to the most promising start-up.

The Enlaira programme, jointly promoted by Andorra Business and Creand Accelera, seeks to strengthen the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem and contribute to economic diversification through business innovation. In its first edition, the programme received 15 applications, three of which were selected, representing the health, education and green economy sectors.
